Training Log
On this page we will be posting interesting and sometimes unusual training weeks from the journals of a variety of distance runners. This first excerpt is taken from the training log of Brad Hudson, Fall 1983, when he competed for North Hunterdon High School in New Jersey. This is his high week before he set the Van Cortland Park Cross Country Record of 12:15 for 2.5 miles. In high school Hudson was known for his high mileage, modeling his training after athletes such as Laguna Beach's Eric Hulst and Indiana's Rudy Chapa.
